About The Opportunity

We are looking for a Product Designer to join our growing Product Team within the Lab in Barcelona, as we tackle some of those most interesting problems in Business Travel.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record solving complex interaction problems across multiple platforms. They have an eye for pixel perfect detail, and possess a strong blend of interaction and visual design skills, as well as user-centered design principles. The applicant must have an affinity for consistency, color use, typography, and a keen eye for subtle details. While exercising a good eye for aesthetics, candidates must be able to grasp and distill highly complex issues. Deliverables include wireframes, design mockups, and documentation required for proper implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Submitting design concepts for brainstorming and approval in a timely manner.
  • Consulting with the project team and determining visual and interactive design preferences and expectations.
  • Meeting with the project team for feedback and editing designs, when required.
  • Employ design concepts into functional prototypes.
  • Identify new product improvement opportunities
  • Communicate design with the engineering team.
  • Keeping track of advancements in visual design technologies and applications, as well as industry trends.
  • Keeping our design system up to date.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or similar and equivalent work experience and portfolio.
  • 3-4 years of experience as a Product Designer, or similar
  • A portfolio of visual design examples, preferably examples of a SaaS product.
  • Advanced proficiency in visual design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite's InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, Figma, Zeplin.
  • Expert knowledge of user-centered design philosophies
  • Experience in determining visual design preferences and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
